Welcome to my website.

I was born and raised in Rochester NY. I have been working as a free lance musician in the NYC/North Jersey area for over 40 years. I play piano and most other keyboard varieties, including wrestling matches with a pipe organ. Most of my piano work is what they call “collaborative” nowadays. That is, I’ve worked mostly as an accompanist, mostly with vocalists, mostly in the genre’s of musical theater and liturgy (anywhere from Catholic, Protestant to the Jewish persuasion). I’m a mallet percussionist, but only own a set of vibes (Malletech Omega) I also play mandolin and mess with an anglo concertina on occasion. I compose, arrange, orchestrate, music direct, conduct, and drink a lot of espresso.

As far as my present performing gigs, I have been a keyboard sub for Broadway’s The Lion King since August of 1998. For about the same amount of years, I accompany and music direct at Temple Sharey Tefilo Israel in South Orange, NJ. I am also presently music director at The United Methodist Church in Wayne NJ. And twice a month, I have the honor of leading Broadway Sing-A-Long sessions at the Actor’s Home in Englewood NJ.
